"Next MoVement" by Danceability
New Expressive Works is delighted to present DanceAbility International’s and Orchestra Next’s collaboration piece “Next Movement”.
“Next Movement” was choreographed by DanceAbility’s Artistic Director Alito Alessi and the DanceAbility Dancers, and is performed to a score composed and recorded by the musicians of Orchestra Next, led by Brian McWhorter.
The piece was formed by the dancers and musicians bouncing ideas off of each other in a collaboration exercise led by Alessi and McWhorter. Each rehearsal was a step toward building the lyrical movement and music you will experience.
