April 25th, 26th, and 27th

Artistic Director, Subashini Ganesan-Forbes, premiers "Kalyana Mitra - The Friends Who Know The Gift That You Are." Collaborators Jordan Isadore and Angela Mazziotta join Subashini and weave dance, music, and installation, to explore trust, vulnerability, undisguised affection, and deep abiding respect. New Expressive Works presents our 15th Residency Cohort Performance. Our current residents are Jared "ashi" Maurice Dancler, Sadie Leigh, Willow Swanson, and Queer Contact Improvisation Group. 


2023 -SEPTEMBER 28TH, 29TH & OCTOBER 1ST

Look Beyond is a community-activated, dance-based research installation conceived by Choreographer Meshi Chavez.  Look Beyond investigates dance’s interconnected and slippery nature by inviting participants to become its movers while maneuvering in the darkness. 

September 15th - 17th - 7:00 PM Nightly

Gerrin Mitchell presents Sexicide, a penetrating look at intimacy in the digital age. 

CONTENT WARNING: graphic gay sex, suicide, and strobe lighting. This performance is  is funded in part by the Regional Arts & Culture Council and a part of the N.E.W. Curated Residency Series. 

August 25th - 27th - 8:00 PM Nightly

Allie Hankins presents  "By My Own Hand, Part 2: TRANSPARENCY." This performance is  is funded in part by the Regional Arts & Culture Council and co-produced by Risk/Reward, with support from New Expressive Works. 

June 2nd - 4th - 7:30 PM Nightly
